How do I know I am communicating with the official Star househelps office?

Are your workers trained?

Yes. Domestic workers undergo training and guidance on household duties, professionalism, discipline, hygiene, and proper work conduct before placement.

Are your workers vetted before placement?

Yes. Workers go through screening, assessment, and guidance before they are recommended for placement.

How long does it take to get a househelp?

The timing depends on the availability of suitable workers who match your requirements. The office always aims to provide a suitable placement as quickly as possible.

How much is the agency fee?

Basic Training Package: Ksh. 5,000 for 1 to 5 days of training. Advanced Training Package: Ksh. 15,000 for 21 days of training. The applicable package depends on the client's requirements and the level of training needed.

Is the agency fee refundable?

No. The agency fee is non-refundable because it covers recruitment, training, screening, and placement services. Where applicable, replacement support is provided according to the agreed placement policy.

Who pays the worker's salary?

The employer pays the worker's salary directly according to the agreement between the employer and the worker.

Do you guarantee that a worker will never have problems?

No. Workers are carefully selected, trained, and guided before placement, but every individual remains responsible for their own actions and decisions. If a concern arises, contact the office immediately for guidance, mediation, or assistance where applicable.

What happens if the worker leaves shortly after placement?

Notify the office immediately. If replacement applies, the replacement service itself remains free to the employer. Each worker has a Ksh. 2,000 office registration fee, paid through the official Till Number 565227 and recovered from the worker's first salary according to the placement terms.

What happens if a worker disappears or leaves without notice?

Leaving work without proper notice is considered misconduct. The client has the right to take appropriate action, and the worker may be disqualified from future placements through Star househelps.

Can I contact the worker directly after placement?

Workers are placed through Star househelps to maintain a professional placement process. Any concerns should be handled through the proper communication channels and agreed placement terms.

Can I choose the worker I want?

Yes. Your requirements are considered, and the office recommends workers who best match your needs.

Do you provide replacements?

Yes. Replacement support is provided according to the agreed placement policy. The employer does not pay an extra replacement service fee. The Ksh. 2,000 office registration fee applies to each worker and is handled through the official M-Pesa Till Number 565227 (Star Housegirls Mlolongo).

Are payments made to individual staff members?

No. All official payments must be made through official Star househelps payment channels only. Personal payment lines and private M-Pesa numbers are not used for official transactions.
